Editing Materials

Any or all of the four shader components that make up a material may be modified at any time by changing argument values.

 

After editing a material assigned to a selected object, you have two options:

a) To overwrite the original material and save changes under the same name, simply press the Save button.

b) To retain the original material and create a new one under a new name, press the Save as button.

 

The Save as Material panel is displayed. Choose the Group where you want to store the new material by scrolling the pop-up list, then type the Material name and click OK to confirm.
